Genuine Antler Lamps
Moose antler lamps are composed of two or more antlers selected for their size and shape. Because antlers are natural products and must be taken as they are, lamp heights are variable and fall between 27 and 33 inches to the top of the shade. All wiring is run inside the antler and all electrical sockets are designed for a three-way bulb.
High quality leather hand-made chamois shades are included with each lamp. These shades impart a wonderful warm, ambler glow when illuminated and are not subject to splitting like rawhide shades often do.

Antlers are fascinating structures that are grown and shed every year. The size and shape are factors of heredity, age, habitat quality and subspecies. The antlers are used by larger bulls to intimidate smaller antlered bulls or as a weapon in struggles for excess to females between equally matched males. Antlers are subject to damage from contact with branches during the growing process and from fights during the rut. I do not discard antlers because of naturally occurring breaks or punctures. That adds character. I make no attempt to conceal or repair what Mother Nature has done. Lamps can be created from flawless antlers only if so desired.

Pricing of antler lamps is dependant on the condition and size of the antlers. Price ranges run from $180 to $400 for Moose Antler table lamps; Tree lamps can range from $100 to $225; floor lamps $1,000 to $1,300. Lamps can also be purchased without shades. I like to work directly with people to be able to meet all their expectations in an antler lamp. Feel free to contact me anytime.

One of the beautiful differences in these natural lamps is the completely different look that they take on when they are lit, compared to when they are turned off.

Notice these two pictures of the same lamp; lit, there is a warm glow from the shade; unlit, the shade appears white.
